Delete your account & data
Applies to the GigKeep app by Larkspire
Most people have nothing to delete on our side. GigKeep stores your data on your own device by default. A GigKeep account and cloud data only exist if you signed in and turned on cloud backup. If you never did, simply uninstalling the app removes everything.
If you never created an account
All of your data lives only on your device. Uninstall the app to permanently delete every shift, expense, vehicle profile, tax setting, and preference. Nothing was ever sent to us, so there is nothing for us to remove.
If you created an account (cloud backup)
To request deletion of your GigKeep account and all data stored in our cloud:
- Email [email protected] from the email address associated with your GigKeep account.
- Use the subject line “Delete my GigKeep account.”
- We may reply to confirm the request is genuinely from you before we proceed.
We complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. You’ll receive a confirmation once it’s done.
What gets deleted
When we process your request, we permanently delete from our servers:
- Your account and login credentials (email address and authentication record)
- All cloud-synced shift records (earnings, tips, hours, mileage, calculated profit, notes)
- Cloud-synced expenses and fuel fill-ups
- Cloud-synced vehicle profiles and selected delivery platforms
- Cloud-synced tax configuration, driver settings, and app preferences
What is kept, and for how long
After a deletion request is completed, we retain none of the above. Any copies in routine encrypted backups are overwritten on our backup rotation, no later than 30 days after deletion. We keep no analytics, advertising, or location data, because GigKeep never collects any.
The copy of your data on your own device is not affected by an account-deletion request. To remove that too, uninstall the app.
